I make weird little things because the world is hard.

Crochet started as therapy. Not the formal kind—the keeping-my-hands-busy, quieting-my-brain, getting-through-one-more-day kind. Stitch by stitch, it became a way to manage stress, anxiety, chronic illness, and all the things that felt bigger than I was. Counting stitches gave me something predictable when life wasn’t. Creating something from a ball of yarn reminded me that small progress is still progress.

What started as a coping mechanism slowly became a collection of comfort objects, cryptids, curiosities, and companions. Along the way, I discovered that tiny comforts matter.

An emotional support pickle won’t solve your problems. A pocket alien can’t file your paperwork. A humble potato is woefully unqualified to provide life advice.

But sometimes a small, ridiculous thing can make you smile on a difficult day. Sometimes it can remind you to take a breath, drink some water, laugh at something silly, or simply feel a little less alone.

Every piece in the Archive is handmade by me, one stitch at a time, usually accompanied by an unnecessary amount of lore. I create for the collectors, the introverts, the neurodivergent folks, the chronic illness warriors, the exhausted caregivers, the anxious overthinkers, and anyone else who has ever found comfort in something small.
